Hoya pubicalyx ‘Speckled’ has elongated leaves speckled with pale, silvery-green spots. This beauty has a gorgeous deep pink flower. (PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NO FLOWERS ON THESE PLANTS CURRENTLY)
This plant likes bright, indirect sunlight but also makes a wonderful low light houseplant and if given the right conditions will have bundles of unique pink flowers. Direct morning or late afternoon sun will create the perfect condititions for flowering.
Water throuroughly throughout summer allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Don't let it sit in soggy soil. This is a great drought resistant plant if you're forgetful to water your plants.
Cut the plant back occasionally. Leave short stalks in place after bloom so new buds can form.
This plant is non-toxic to cats and dogs.
